Narasimha Swamy Shrine
Lord Narasimha Swamy appears in yoga posture wearing Chalakkrama at Big
Hill Temple. A bar depicting Ten Avatars of Perumal is
seen. Sun and Moon are at the feet of Lord Narasimha.
Once Lord appeared before Saptharishis and blessed
them (7 Saints) within a period of one Kadiga (ie.
24 minutes).

Lord Narasimha offered Disscus and conch to Lord Anjeneya to destroy
Asurars. In front of the
Lord are Nammalvar and Ramanujar with Senaimudalvar.
Next to them are Saptharishis (7 saints) and Garuda. |

In the Sanctum sanctorum Yoga Narasimhar appears in the form of a
statue. On a wodden platform
the idols of Lakshmi Narasimhar, Aathisedan, Chakrathalvar, Kannan and

Previously. Now the Thayar Shrine has been consider nearer to the Santum
Sanctorum of Perumal. Procession
Deity of Thayar is also kept there. Thayar
gives darsan facing east. |
